Head in the clouds

Flying is something I’ve always enjoyed, mainly because of the spine crushing force of a proper jet-powered takeoff, but also because the views from the sky are simply unparalleled.  Being in the air gives you the big picture, as it were, and I’m drawn to that like a moth to a flame.  Being able to see what is both “here” and “there” simultaneously puts many things into perspective, and shows you the hidden patterns that naturally take shape.

Taken in reverse order on the same flight:

Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania

Soccer pitch, neighborhood in Zanzibar

Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
